If you are planning to do an Internship in the UPV, you must get your NIE (Identification Number for Foreigners) before starting, this process can take from 1 to 2 months and it is mandatory if you want to do an Internship. If you don’t have a good level of spanish, you should ask your mentor student for help.
In order to get your NIE you might Ask for an appointment in the Foreigners Office’s website. (Choose option POLICIA-CERTIFICADOS Y ASIGNACIÓN NIE). The Foreigners Office offers a few appointments each day, the offer starts around 9:00 A.M. everyday and lasts until they finish with the available. appointments.
We also recommend you to go to the appointment with your mentor student.
When you have your NIE you can come to the International Office and we will help you to find an Internship.
