Apply for an ETSIT‑UPV Exchange

If you want to carry out an exchange period at ETSIT‑UPV, this section will guide you through the full application process.

REQUIREMENTS

To be accepted for an exchange period at ETSIT‑UPV, you must:

  • Be officially nominated by your home university.
  • Upload a valid passport or ID.
  • Upload your academic transcript.
  • Include language certificates (English B2 and/or Spanish B1 recommended).
  • Have valid health insurance covering your full stay in Spain.

LEARN SPANISH AT UPV

Incoming students can enrol in Spanish language courses or take official English certification exams during their stay at UPV.

Week immersive course (20 hours) designed for Erasmus students (A1–B2). Ideal to gain confidence before the semester starts.
Week intensive course (40 hours) offered before the semester. Includes accommodation guidance and practical information. (In Gandia)

These courses take place before the semester and are highly recommended for incoming students.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Steps you MUST follow to apply for an exchange period at ETSIT‑UPV:

STEP 1

Home university sends your nomination using an online nomination form

STEP 2

Request Username and PIN number

A member of staff must approve each request (only possible if Step 1 has been completed). This may take several days.

STEP 3

Complete the online application form on the AIRE portal

Confirm application, download and print the overview. Have it signed by your home institution and upload it, along with required documents.

IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT

Upload a valid ID (passport or national ID card). Make sure it is valid for the entire duration of your stay and renewed if necessary.
