ACADEMIC CALENDAR: DEADLINES AND HOLIDAYS

ETSIT DEGREES (BACHELOR AND MASTER)

FIRST SEMESTER/FULL ACADEMIC YEAR
First semester (also called Semester ‘A’ or odd-numbered) goes from 9th September 2025 to 31st January 2026.
First, you have to register your arrival. Some days later, once you have arranged your course schedule, you will have to register for your courses. You can attend lectures before your administrative registration. Administrative registration of courses begins on 1st August and ends on 12th September. Your mentor student will help you to prepare your schedule. Every course can have several groups that corresponds to different time slots. You should check possible overlappings. We will help you when the Administrative meeting takes place.


SECOND SEMESTER
 Second semester (also called Semester ‘B’ or even-numbered) goes from 2nd February 2025 to 1st July 2026.
First, you have to register your arrival. Some days later, once you have arranged your course schedule, you will have to register for your courses. You can attend lectures before your administrative registration. Administrative registration of courses begins on 1st January 2025 and end on 5th February 2026. Your mentor-student will help you to prepare your schedule. Every course can have several groups that correspond to different time slots. You should be helped to check possible overlappings. We will help you when the Administrative meeting takes place.

 Please notice that students for’A’ or full academic year must register in our ofice before 10th September and before the 3rd February for students of ‘B’ semester.

Remarks:

  • Since Spanish language courses are very demanded, and finding a suitable accommodation takes some days, we strongly recommend you to arrive in Valencia one week before lectures start.
  • Please check whether your courses here require laboratory or practical work. Attending all practices or laboratories is compulsory, so you MUST be here from the first day lectures start: Professors could reject your request if you arrive later.
  • We recommend you to announce your arrival by our contact form.

NOTICE: Those students that want to apply for the Master’s Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering must apply and upload all the required documents before the 1st, July. Students will know whether they are accepted or not around the 24th, July.


HOLIDAYS: 9th-12nd October, 1st November, 6th-8th December, 23rd December-6th January Christmas holidays, 16th-20th March Fallas (Valencia Festival), 2nd April-13th April Holy Week and Easter holidays, 1st May Labour Day.

Public attention hours of the International Office are Monday-Thuesday from 11:00 to 13:00 am.



International Office closes on 15th July. Please take this into account in order to plan your departure.
